Guillermo Trujillo's work is heavily informed by the native cultures found in Panama to this day. One example of this is the influence of the Kunan molas, textiles made with detailed patterns and elaborate stitches, the same that he tries to emulate in his pieces, and such is the case with "Blue Gray". The small brushstrokes try to emulate the molas' textures, and they are used to decorate this landscape where we can see a group of people, perhaps natives, gathered in a natural landscape.
