"Fuente Sagrada" uses color as a means of emphasis. The triangle and the cone were two significant shapes in the work of Perez Celis and oftentimes were used to add movement to the composition. Standing in the foreground against a pale gray background, the "fountain" stands straight, holding at the top a small flame, a small light shining forth, projecting its light onto the viewer.
