Omar D'Leon uses color subjectively, choosing vibrant hues, and finds inspiration in the memories of his beloved Nicaragua. "Hotel Masaya" depicts the outside of a hotel, with a view of Laguna de Apoyo in the background. People are already inside of the hotel, ready to spend the night, while the setting sun signals the end of the day.
