Nuchos are totem-like carved sculptures made by some Panamanian tribes. Enamored by this and other native elements, Guillermo Trujillo transforms these objects and grants them life in his works. "Nuchos Cazadores" portrays a series of nuchos that have come to life and who are in the middle of hunting. The energy of the scene is heightened by the use of bright warm colors and is adorned by the textures emulating the molas, which is characteristic of Trujillo's work.
